Sketches in Thyme - #385

and I am back again with Sketches in Thyme this week - hope everyone is staying cool as we are in record breaking heat here in Alabama.

We have a great sketch this week from Nadine

And I really hope ya'll don't get tired of seeing wedding photos, but I am working on an album for my niece and trying to get it finished this year ;)

I also went a little outside of my comfort zone and sprayed my paper with some Glimmer Mist, the blue color didn't come out quite like I wanted but it is fun to play with different mediums, especially when I really couldn't find the right paper when I picked this photo

I do need to go back redo my circles, my gold glitter pen was giving me some issues and it is probably time for a new one.

Lets Scrap Sketches - Aug 15th

Welcome to the DOG DAYS of summer here in Alabama.. we have been experiencing some EXTREME heat the past week and I am ready for fall to be here, along with football and pumpkin spice!!

Got another great sketch from Let's Scrap Sketches for the middle of August - I really love the sunburst across the top and this could easily be modified for a single page layout too!!



So I have been working on an album of my niece's wedding, which maybe she will get by her 2nd anniversary ;) but all these sketches have really helped me get a lot of pictures done - I still need to journal, but I think I will use my silhouette to do the writing so I can fit everything into the space.
