Sketches in Thyme #157 - DIXIE

This summer just seems to be flying by!!!  I am already back with Sketches in Thyme this month and we have another fabulous sketch from Shawn Lahr and the chance to win a $15 shopping spree from Chickydoodle, they have all kinds of fun stuff to play with!!!

I took these pictures of my "sister" DIXIE, who is the newest addition at my parents house..  My dad has an affinity for Brittany Spaniels and Dixie Belle is the 6th one to be a part of the family.  She might have my dad wrapped around her little paw ;)

She is a cutie that is for sure and seeing as she is named after my Granny she is definitely a little firecracker!!!

Let's Scrap Sketch reveal and DT Call

Well it is already the 15th of July and we only have 20 Saturdays till Christmas-EEEK!!!  This year is flying by and it is hard to believe that it is time for another DT call at Let's Scrap!!!

Here is our current sketch for July 15th and it is a great one (but when are they not??)

I had these pictures of the twins first year of T-ball and I do realize that one day Cannon will probably want to kill Aunt 'Vanna for doing a page with this picture, but I am sure he laugh about as well.  Picture day was not a fun day for most of the kids cause it was EARLY in the morning and for some reason 4 year olds just were raring to go at the time - hence the cry face  LOL

You have until the end of the month to get your sketch linked up and also a chance for a fabulous prize of 3 digi stamps from Lacy Sunshine Stamps!!!

Let's Scrap July 1st reveal

So who else is having a hard time believing it is already July??!!??  We are already halfway thru the year...yeesh!!!

We have another fabulous sketch this week and an awesome prize as well, a set of stamps from Stampendous!!!

Here is my take, I have had this fabulous travel paper from WeR and finally printed some pics that would work well with it.  These are from a little road trip we took to see the NCAA regional gymnastic meet in Auburn (War Eagle!) since both Auburn and Alabama were there.  If you have never been to Auburn, AL and are near by be sure to stop, it is a fabulous college town that still has an old fashioned drug store with the best lemonade around!!

I hope you will play along with us, there will be another sketch out the 15th too!!!

Reveal #153 Sketches in Thyme

I am back this month with sketch #153 by the fabulous Shawn Lahr over at Sketches in Thyme

Shawn does a fabulous job designing one page sketches that are so versatile. I had these cute school day pictures of my cousin's children, Thomas and Laura and found some Bo Bunny Ad Lib paper in my stash (slowly but surely I am working my way thru some old paper that I have been hoarding).  I fell in love with the yellow background because it really made the pics pop.  Be sure to join us this month with this or any or all of the sketches for a chance at a fabulous prize from  DIY Crafty Scraps.. at $25 gift certificate.. I just check out their etsy shop and they have some great goodies!!!

Let's Scrap - June 15th reveal

Hi ya'll... I am back with the mid-month reveal over at Let's Scrap and it is another fabulous sketch
and fabulous prize from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps

This sketch is really versatile, you can flip it or use either side for a single page layout

I used it for double since I had collage print that would work really well with it from our beach trip a couple of summers ago.  I had the Bo Bunny kit that went along fabulously with the beach theme.

Thanks for stopping by... you still have a couple weeks left to jump in on the fun and a chance to win the fabulous prize from Dr. Digi's!!

Let's Scrap - June 1st reveal

Wow... is it already June!!!  Time is flying by but we have another great sketch over at Let's Scrap and a fabulous prize from Bugaboo Stamps.. and once again my layout it of my super cute, crime fighting, cape wearing superhero nephews.  These 2 just turned 4 in February (OMG!!!) and their personalities have really started to come out even more the older they get... they are really alike yet really different... Deacon is as laid back as Cannon is not, but one thing is for sure they love their superheroes and wrestling video games!!  I can't wait to see what this next year brings!!

Start off your summer with this super cute sketch and be watching for 15th sketch I am sure it will be just as fabulous!!!
