Sketch 345 - Sketches in Thyme

Happy October - I hope everyone is finally enjoying some Fall weather!!  It took Alabama a while to feel any fall temps but they finally seem to be sticking around!!

This is my parents cat, Wonki and she is a touch spoiled.  When she was born her paws were deformed and my dad took it upon himself to make splints to help straighten them, so in her eyes 

Daddy is her prince ;)

I love this paper line by Pebbles, I found it in my stash and it was just "purrr-fect" for this layout!!

Let's Scrap - Oct. 15th sketch

Here we are in mid October - the year is just flying by!!  Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year... I love to decorate and who doesn't love seeing kids in costumes?!?!  Plus after Halloween comes Turkey Day and then Santa!!!

Who doesn't need a Big Foot Hunter in their lives??  I am happy to know that Deac has snagged Big Foot (aka Can-man) and the world is a better place!!

Lets Scrap - Aug 15th reveal

So I am just a little behind with my blogging... this should have been  up last week but work has been crazy - that is my story and I am sticking to it!!

So in honor of my Bigfoot loving nephews!!  The boys were infatuated with Big Foot and so for their 6th birthday we hosted a Bigfoot Hunt complete with our version of Mountain Men (aka Uncle David, Daddy Mark, Gdaddy Bill and serving as our "Bigfoots" Kyle & Alex).
The kids loved "hunting" for Bigfoot and some of them even think the saw Bigfoot!!

Let's Scrap - August 1st Sketch

So can we believe it is August 1st???  School will be starting next week in my neck of the woods.  Seems like this year has just flown by and I know I will be glad for some cooler weather here Alabama!!

And I am finally back - had to take some time off to deal with some family stuff and honestly just kind of lost my inspiration for a few months, but now I am back!!!

Its been a while

But I am finally back with a fabulous sketch from Let's Scrap!!

And of course I had to use some of my favorite subjects - my twin nephews Cannon & Deacon.
These pics are from their first year of school/kindergarten - they were so blessed with a fabulous teacher in Mrs. Clayton!!  School days caused lots of tears but Mrs. Clayton really helped them blossom and get ready for 1st grade.
