Sketches in Thyme #369

I trust everyone has made it thru Tax Day!!  It was a little tough for us because we had to pay this year, but thankfully I had this great sketch to take my mind off that check I had to write.

Here is this week's sketch over at Sketches in Thyme by the talented Shawn Lahr.



I am obsessed with this little hexagon shapes, I have used them in several of my layouts lately, they are so versatile and can really add a pop to a layout that might otherwise be dull.



Just a little background on these photos... our family CANNOT take a nice picture without taking a silly one, it goes back to when Kyle was little and it was the only way to make him smile, the promise of a silly picture after and it still happens with the twins - the learned from their big brother!!

Let's Scrap - April 15th

Tax day!!!  Glad it is over with as we had to send them money, but at least I had this great sketch over at Let's Scrap to work with to take my mind off it!!  I really love this sketch because it can be a 2 page layout or two 1 page layouts!! 



I really love the smaller photo section cause it let's use a ton of pictures, which with my nephews I always have ;)  These are from Allstar season last summer, it is really hard to believe that we are really close to that again this year!!
