Sketches in Thyme #281

I trust everyone is having a great start to summer and what better to celebrate summer than a new sketch and layout of my two baseball cutie nephews!!  Baseball is all about summer!!

We have a great sketch from Jenessa Franco, one of four fabulous sketch designers over at Sketches in Thyme.  This is a great sketch to use up some that scrap paper that is laying around and that is exactly what I did.



I had this great paper pack for Baseball from Paperhouse that I have been using while the twins are playing ball being on the Twins team the red and blue just works perfectly.  I had a bunch of scraps left over and was able to use them for this layout!!

I won this fabulous Eastery/Springy line from Bella Blvd last year and thought it worked great for these Easter Egg dyeing pictures - back in the day when I was kid (a long, long, time ago) all you got was basic colors for egss and maybe some stickers to add to them... now you can do all kinds of fun things when dyeing Easter eggs.

Let's Scrap Sketches June 1st reveal

Hello there... been a while since I have done any posting, but with good reason... the past few months have been some I would really like a do over and maybe I will post about that soon.. but for today I am here with a fabulous sketch from Let's Scrap Sketches!!

I mean there are so many ways you can work with this awesome sketch!!  You have double pages, break it apart for single pages, flip around, the possibilities are endless!!  I kept to the original for the most part with some minor changes.  I have been wanting to scrap these pumpkin carving sketches for a while now and this sketch worked great for the pictures I had.  This was so much fun with our family that we have decided to make it a tradition every Halloween!!
