4 years old - Sketches in Thyme

I am finally here with a layout I did for Sketches in Thyme with this great sketch and a cute picture of my nephews on their 4th birthday!!!

I just happened across this paper by Fancy Pants while I am here in the mountains on a little vacay... and why yes I do bring scrapbook supplies with me on vacation ;)

Exciting news!!!!

Happy Friday!!!  I have been bursting at the seams to share this exciting news!!!  After a long hiatus, and the nudging of my favorite LSS owner I have been trying out for a few design teams... so drum roll please....

I have been picked for the Let's Scrap Design Team and I couldn't be more excited!!!!  I can't wait to show off some scrappiness on this awesome sketch challenge blog!!!

Sketches

Every Wednesday we will post a new sketch for your inspiration, you have a week to play along with the sketch. We will post 3 double page layouts a month and on the 3rd Wednesday of the month we will post a card sketch. The winner of the weekly sketches will be posted on Fridays. The sketches are here to inspire you so you can flip it, spin it and play with it, you can make a single LO, you can turn a card sketch into a LO or the other way around. Feel free to be creative!

Challenge

The challenges are set up by the Design Team and a small 'rak' will be sent to the winner of the challenges.

They will be set up for the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month.

The Studio Challenges - Uncle Dadid

I am finally back with a new layout for The Studio Challenges, which is a great challenge blog.  Twice a month they have a different challenge, it may be using a sketch like this one or something that makes you use what is on your table, but I like the variety of challenges to get me thinking outside the box.

This is for the sketch challenge using this sketch, which I love and I found the perfect picture of Uncle "Dadid" with the twins, who think he hung the moon and will gladly take a selfie with him!!!

Turning 4 years old

Hard to believe that my cute little nephews turned 4 years old yesterday...  it seems like I was just trying to get to the hospital during a snow/ice storm before they were born...and here we are now at 4!!!  They are so alike, yet so different not just in looks but in personality too... Deacon is usually the more outgoing one, but at times Cannon can surprises you...  Cannon is very organized in his own little way and I don't think either one of them have much fear when they are in daredevil mode ;)

Here is a list of their favorite things...  Strawberry Milk, anything superhero (which Aunt Sav ;) made personalized capes for their bday present)... anything wrestling (no thanks to their Uncle Dadid, Daddy and big bro Kyle)... they amaze me with their knowledge of all the wrestlers... and I think their new favorite thing with be this family birthday present... at least once the weather gets warmer
